The Plugs

The company that gave Jon his new plugs are using Jon to now plug their business. For anyone who want the details of Jon's balding head and to see pictures of his hair transplant, they are now available the New Hair Institute . This just makes me wonder, what are these people willing to do for a freebie? We know they were willing to leave their sick children. Thank goodness that Aunt Jodi and Uncle Kevin were still in their lives at that time, so the kids could be well taken care of by people that love them.

This is what the site says...
Jon Gosselin, father of eight young children and co-star (with his lovely wife Kate) of the hit TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus Eight, came to New Hair Institute to restore his hair. He was presenting a Norwood Class 5 hair loss pattern and had a single procedure of 2087 grafts. The surgery took place in late March 2008, and was filmed for a special 1-hour episode of their show, which finally aired in early June 2008.
We'll post updates as they are available, but for now here are 3 photos from before his procedure and 3 photos from immediately after. You'll note the redness in the after photos, which did subside soon after (these photos were taken minutes after the last graft was placed). Click the photos to enlarge.

I wish they had given Kate a plug for her mouth.

What is next? I don't want to see his head again.

I would hate it if my surgery was used for an ad. I guess when you open your life up to this, nothing is off limits, we know the kids have no private moments, why should the parents have private moments?

I think this show, more than any other, showed just how much these two will give up to have their faces in the spotlight. They could have paid for the plugs and not left their sick kids, but no, then they may not have been able to get them free, which is their life now. Gee, for some reason, I thought the kids were what their life was all about, I guess not.

This was the worst show they have aired. I have never seen it reruns either, so I kind of think they know it was not a good one. I bet the company planned on reruns and seeing their clinic on TV over and over and it didn't happen, so now they are using Jon on their website.

I see plugs everywhere, in their heads, in the magazines, in the shows like Regis and Kelly. Everywhere a plug, it would make for a nice song, wouldn't it.

They say they will post updated pics, I wonder how much they will have to pay Jon for those.

This show definitely made it clear that these are two very superficial, self-absorbed, narcissistic parents. And I don't think he looks any better. How could he, living with that woman? I can not imagine leaving those sick kids to get this freebie. I'm sure they have an explanation that suits them, but they would never convince me they're good parents or good people.

I don't think he looks different either. I can't imagine living like this, I didn't think the most important things in life were looks. Let's get our tummies tucked and our hair transplanted, and our hair bleached and have personal trainers. Gee, has the show become about how Jon and Kate? Maybe they can get a beauty show next.

When signing documents often people will sign giving permission to use their information (pictures, etc.) for advertising purposes. People can opt not to sign the waiver but I would bet that not signing was not an option for the Gosselins (since New Hair Institute was most likely giving Jon the transplant free of charge in exchange for free press)

I've wondered since this episode, and I think they actually mentioned it, but when he goes bald on the rest of his head, wonder if he has to keep getting the implants, or like he said, he'll have a band of the implants around the front of his head, and the rest will be bald. It would be so funny if when all this ends, and his money is all gone, he has to look at that for the rest of his life to remind him of his greed. The pics are hilarious though..lol
As far as the balls go, here are some options for him
http://www.bullsballs.com/ (not real, lol)
http://www.neuticles.com/index1.html (real, for dogs)
They would probably give him free ones for advertising, although I don't want to see before or after pics, lol.

Don't they have the Hair Club for Men in Pennsylvania? There is no end to what these two will do for a buck. Are they going to fix the bald spot in the back of his head?

Maybe we should E-mail the hair doc and ask for updated photos! I mean, its not fair to us as a possible 'hair-plug' consumer (lol, that just feels weird typing it!!) that they do not have any 'after' photos- looks like Jon hasnt held up hi end of the bargain!
