Wow - the open letter from the Metro Parent President - link above- to Kate Gosselin is one of the best insights I've read in regard to Kate Gosselin. She does seem aloof and rude and her caustic remarks week after week after sickening week to her children, Jon, Jodi, Beth and anyone else in her life is very telling of just how really disconnected and uncaring this woman is. She mentioned in a previous episode that she was raised in a very strict home environment and it certainly shows. I give kudos to Jodi and Kevin - they seem to relate to children very well, with love and ease in their encounters with all the children. Was Kevin raised in the same home as Kate? They are SO different in how they relate to people. I urge TLC to remove this show from their line-up - the children don’t deserve the microscopic lives they now lead and Kate doesn't deserve the 'celebrity' she so transparently loves and craves. Jon just needs to grow some 'nerve' and push back to this nagging, hate-filled, self-absorbed woman. Good Luck, Gosselins, you need it.
