How Do the Teachers Address This?

. Would you allow your children to view last nights show? Jon and Kate Plus 8 used to be a show appropriate for family viewing. Do Mady and Cara's teachers have to address divorce now? What about the tups teacher? Many of the children the kids attend school with would obviously want to watch themselves and their friends on television and probably couldn't wait to tune in last night. Instead of watching their friends during the birthday party, they tuned in to watching a family falling apart. How could the teachers not address the split?
It is disgusting how low TLC, Jon and Kate Gosselin and their sponsors will go for $$$$

Nice family viewing folks!

As much as my kids love watching those cute Gosselin children, I did not let them watch last night's premiere; I didn't even let them know it was going to be on. I didn't watch the whole thing myself, just snippits here and there and from what I did see, I have decided that I will no longer watch this show. I do hope that the Gosselins will come through this together, and that they will have the sense to say enough is enough. TLC, you need to stop being so focused on what kind of money you are making on this family and start showing a little human compassion, if that is possible.

Last nights show was just depressing. I feel so sad for those children. Did you hear the one little girl say something like "daddy don't go away so much"

Honestly, it's not TLC's fault as much as it is Papa & Mama Gosselin. They could easily pull the plug on this charade if they so desired. There's no question that it's all about the dollar to the Gosselin parents.

Ilove watching the show but all the media circus and lies should stop...stop ruining a persons life or in this case peoples lives...yes kate could say no to some appearances and jon could go back to work if he' un happy about it all...think of the kids if you were to divorse...i wish it could go back to the way the show was just in their new home being happy and the kids are happy and no papparazzi is fallowing you everywhere.

So you think it's ok for cameras to follow this family but it's not ok to take a "candid' shot of them?

I don't think they will ever be able to go back to the way things were, not until Kate's ego and greed shrinks....she needs to stop thinking of material things and begin thinking about her children's well being.

Happiness is not about who has the newest toy or the the trendiest outfit, shoes or car!

Everyone who is going to stop watching the show is just dumb..
i am sorry kate has to do what she
has to do. Her kids have to come first... and people say this is not children orientated anymore it is wrong... if they do get divorced it will show children that it could happen to everyone and that it is just not them. kate and jon our both wonderful parents. so cut kate some slack... and jon too everyone makes mistakes and needs a second chance

Its all crap. Kate is a control freak and she ruined what most people thought was a sweet show with very cute kids. Each episode we all fell in love with them.

Fast forward to last nights episode...
When one of the boys thanked her at the party, what did she do? she looked at the woman, then the camera THEN her son. WTF Kate??? Is she for real? And we should feel bad that she had to plan a party by herself??? If Jon were helping she'd yell at him the entire time.
Planning the party "by myself". Get over it Kate. Wake up and smell the hairspray. YOur hair is terrible and so is your attitude.
I felt bad for Jon until her rolled up in a sweet sports car. I drive a ford focus. He can feel bad for me. Oh and I have to go to work everyday and earn less than they get an episode. But my hair is way better.

They keep saying their kids are first. Yet they pimp them out. They need to step back, reevaluate their marriage first.

im still stunned about the episode where alexis wonted a bagle and was sent to time out for crying for one how dang cruel can a parent get , the spoiled twins get one but the others have to watch as they eat it , so sad , and by the way bagles is not a junk food , shame on them

Teachers deal with divorce everyday in their classroom. It's not just Jon and Kate gettin a divorce. The world will not stop turning for a divorce nor is this anything new to deal with. I feel sorry that a families break up is being made such public business. I will not be watching anymore. If it we're me in Jon and Kates shoes I wouldn't want it broadcast into every nosy busy person's house to be picked apart and analyzed by people who only know parts of the story. sad but true.

Same here...used to let my kids watch J&K and stopped letting them view it a few months back when all it seemed to be was a Kate grouchfest. I don't want my boys seeing a husband and wife bicker all 30 minutes! They were clueless that the new season was on, and will NOT see that show again unless it's an OLD episode! I too used to defend Kate and the Gosselin bunch, and was probably just as big of a fan as most. However, I don't have any respect for her anymore, and I have to wonder where she and Jon's faith in Christ went. It's so sad. :o(
