Let it go Jon and Kate

I really think if Jon and Kate want their children to continue in the "business", they should sign their kids up with SAG and allow them to make commercials, fictional shows or whatever. At least there would be a social worker and teacher required on set. There are laws in place that would ensure that the kids receive their earned income, not their parents. The kids work would be monitored and limited. Right now it's a free for all, with everyone cashing in except for the kids.
Jon and Kate are really nothing but "agents" for their kids. Without the sextuplets, they would generate ZERO interest.
Jon and Kate have worn out their welcome as far as I am concerned and Cara and Mady obviously don't want to be a part of the show anymore. It's time to let it go. Bite the bullet, Jon and Kate and give your kids a chance!
I seriously doubt if anyone really tunes in to see and hear Jon and Kate on the couch, how long will it go on? Are the tups going to be getting ready for prom while we listen to how Jon and Kate were put out by having to drive around picking up all the freebie dresses and tuxes for their kids? It's so over for these two, move on already! Get off my television!
How absolutely un "Christian" of the Gosselins to not even mention Beth on their tour. Even the super fans have to question what is up with that.

I Love Jon & Kate! I think they are an absolutely amazing family. The two really work together as a team with a strong Christian foundation. Kate is so well organized. There is NO WAY there family would be able to be where they are today without God and their teamwork.
In my viewing area Monday nights is dedicated to watching their show.

Geeez Paula P
So you believe in child abuse. Did you kick your dog on the way to the computer? You are missing the point of this blog. You obviously need to do a little reading before you post further here.
BTW
I have found a "strong Christian foundation" to be based on a giving and loving spirit. AND you say that WHERE???? with these two ???

Teamwork" as in it takes a team to exploit those children in order for so many to profit off of them. If the Gosselins think Jen Stocks and all the other members of the production team actually "like" them, they are sadly mistaken. I'm sure they adore the kids and feel for them!

I wonder what the crew did or how they felt when Kate threw those toys down the stairs and yelled 'I am tired of this shit", or when she yelled at Collin 'We don't chew gum when we're three" or when Kate yelled at Joel "I don't even want to hear you breathe!"

I wonder Paula would you stand by and continue filming while you watch these kids witness their mother going through one of her "tantrums?" Now, that is what I call "teamwork", at least the type you are referring to!!!!

Unless they get at least one acting job or a commercial, they can't get a SAG card. You can't just sign up for SAG. You have to get an entry level job that requires you to act before you can get a SAG card. For the kids to get into SAG, they would have to do at least a job where they said like one line on a comedy or dramatic TV show. Or they would have to do a couple commercials. Probably where they weren't playing themselves but someone else in the commercial.

Dear Anon 9:35
Thank you for your comment. It is my opinion that Jon and Kate have been avoiding the SAG card, by doing so they can dance around the laws that are designed to protect children in entertainment.
If the children appear in commercials, their appearance on their reality show may be limited.
JMO!!!

Jon and Kate are never going to let it go. If Figure 8 and TLC continue to make the big bucks off of this travesty they call a documentary it will continue to be filmed and aired. I blame not just the idiot parents (LOL every time I remember Jon blathering on about avoiding being in the media because it's bad!)I also blame every greedy corporate sponsor and church pastor that participate in the scam.
I wonder how those church ladies that donated to the love offerings feel about the fact they've gotten a 1.3 million dollar estate off the back of the children? And who is coughing up the ticket prices to see them in future church engagements? Really what message do they have that is worth the effort of driving even half a mile to hear. None I can think of and really the fact they didn't do selective reduction isn't so special because with all the other sextuplets and HOM those families out there also must have declined selective reduction. I guess they just choose not to give themselves a pat on the back and collect $25,000 to discuss it.
I don't watch the show but I do find it interesting to read what bs Figure 8 is trying to pass off as "reality." Sounds like a lot of damage control with the phony giving back nonsense when you know they are getting paid a big fat chunk of change to film those so called paltry acts of charity. Those episodes sound as "untruthful" as those puff pieces the Kon PR teams send out to get printed in the d list celeb articles in Star and other dumb magazines. Even magazines that you'd think would know better like Good Housekeeping have shown they haven't got one real reporter on staff to do fact checking, they just print the bs and call it a day. So I also blame these media idiots for promoting child exploitation as cute, uplifting or wow, amazing family. Take off your blinders editors!

its not child abuse!
its parenting!
ALL the kids are going to get a chance at college and other expensive things that arent affordable when you have 4000 kids!
Simples things like health care and dental and even transporation and college!
I love watching the show, and will support it till it comes to an end!
they are entertaining, and real, and KATE HAS 8 KIDS!
If she needs to bitch and yell sometimes, then for gods sake, let her! How else would she ever be able to control the family?!

Kate told Joel in that one episode "not to breathe" because he was throwing a fit. I know Joel, and every time he doesn't get his way, he moans and whines forever! So Kate obviously knows he's like that and by telling him to hush, and she shouldn't hear him breathing or making noises while in time-out, that's great! Plus by her telling him to be quiet and not talk, he listened. You have to parent and discipline your kids, not vice versa. And with their giant family, if rules didn't exist Kate and Jon would probably die. You have to set rules and schedules, and if those millions of kids don't obey they get into trouble. Time-out usually. I can definately see how Jon and Kate alot of times want to pull their hair out. Do you have 8kids? 6 of which are the exact same, young age? I don't blame her, and they are a wonderful Christian family. I think that all you people who hate the Gosselins...are wrong people. You don't know them. And from the TV they are fabulous. Kate has said many times that nothing is scripted, and they elave nothing out. I love Jon ad Kate Plus Eight. Always have. Always will.

Geez leave Jon & Kate alone. They aren't perfect & neither are you all. How would you like it if somebody looked at your life through a microscope & critisied every mistake you made? Nobody in this world is a perfect person & I'm sure we all have said things we wish we could take back.
Do you haters realize that you're just making them even more popular by talking shit about them?? If you really hated them you wouldn't waste your time replying to blogs about them
