The Move

I read today that in an upcoming episode, Jon and Kate tell the children they are moving. I wonder if they are going to show the move, show the house or will the new episodes even be filmed in the new house. It's obvious the house they have moved to is beyond what the average family can afford. How do they explain their means to be able to afford this house? Or, do they even need to? It's obvious they have a huge fan base, do the fans care how they bought the house? I doubt it. The show is not on its way out like I would hope, no its here for a few more years as well as a few more books "written" by Kate. The fans bought the house for them and will continue to make it possible for Jon and Kate Gosselin to live like the celebrities they think they are.
Great job!

Notakatelover, take heart, if this recession continues how many advertisers are going to continue to think throwing goodies the Gosselin way is going to help their bottom line? I mean is clothing those kids head to toe in the pricey brands and giving them the expensive toys really going to get a SAHM who has to pinch pennies to run out and charge those things on the credit card? No, unlikely so the corporations also will be having to decide where best to use the money to get folks to buy their products and it's going to eventually come to them that a low rated cable show isn't the way to go. I think Gap woke up as they go bankrupt that the Gosselin family isn't the way to sell their wares. I think other companies may eventually wake up too. When corporate sponsors dry up then they are going to be stuck with more shows about walking in the woods, making soup and other shows as exciting as paint drying and that will also cause people to change the channel. I haven't watched the show in months and believe me unless they get a new set of parents I wouldn't even be tempted to watch a second of it well, wait now, if Jodi or Beth made an appearance, that would tempt me, otherwise, naw, I got plenty of other things to do with my time and money.
My other hope is that one day a real reporter will do a real article on them and report the church scamming and other nonsense that the Gosselins have been pulling for years. I bet if a real investigative reporter talked to school mates, old co-workers, and such we'd even find out why Jon couldn't keep a job and never bothered with college. It's interesting that his brothers have just seemed totally uninterested in him and the only adult male we seen him interact with is Kate's brother and brother in law. I guess it disgusted them that Jon just took, took and took from Poppy and never gave back.
I think the end is going to come sooner then years but no matter how soon even tomorrow can't be soon enough.

I don't get it. How did they buy the house? Is there some sort of twist in getting the house that I missed? How did the fans do it? Did I miss some donation thing? This sounds unbelievable. FANS BOUGHT THEM A HOUSE????? What is going ON here?

Unlike the Dilly family, Jon and Kate have found a way to support their family by selling their family. On one recent episode, Kate waxed rhapsodic about how lucky they were to be able to afford a train trip to New York, tickets to the American Girl show, lunch and those expensive dolls for each of her oldest girls. Well, sure, when you think that they have a camera crew available and that American Girl, like every other spa and resort they have visited, offers a discount or gives them free stuff as payment for product placement on the TLC show. The Dilly's did it on their own, and now that their children are teens, I'm sure that they would appreciate some help with college tuition. But when the Dilly's came along the public was not obsessed by the private lives of others and it probably never occurred to them to trade their children's childhood for a big house and trips to Disneyworld.

Okay, so that "recent" episode where they went to New York and the twins got the American Girls is the 2nd episode that ever aired. Get over it, cause its their life and you can't control it. Too bad if the other families don't get college tuition paid. Cause you know that you want to be them and you wish that you could have "thousands of dollars" worth of free stuff.

Jon and Kate probably paid for the house themselves. So what if the show helps support their family. Its none of our business. When they get free trips and stuff it is just promoting it.

Paid for the house themselves? An unemployed IT tech and a nurse who refuses to work in nursing? Sure, they could get a loan!!

Those children have worked hard to support their parents. I can't wait to see how the Konpound is shown on the show.

I can't wait to see how stupid Kate will look preaching about coupons, budgeting and saving money while she stands in her huge kitchen? LOL
