I watched the "teaser" for the upcoming segment on Jon and Kate plus 8 possibly exploiting their children but after almost 2 hours, the segment has not aired.

It's also on Jodi's sister's blog, Truth Breeds Hatred. I saw it on CNN this morning, but just had to watch it again tonight. TLC's statement was pretty lame, and J&K declined an interview. Speaks volumes to me that they didn't even try to defend themsleves.
I can't imagine J&K not speaking to them. Oh and the state of PA has not been contacted about this, does everyone in PA lie?
When they say the state of PA has not been contacted, I think they mean by anyone directly involved. Yes we can all write letters complaining about what we see on tv, but we are only television veiwers. We don't know anything about their contracts or filming schedules, or how the kids are treated, or how much they are actually being filmed. Only people directly involved with the family, or show, know that, and although we all think what is happening is wrong, unless we know all the facts they wouldn't be considered legitimate complaints.
This show and the others like it should be cancelled immediately. A message is being sent to the world that all a person or couple needs to do to have a reality show and become rich and famous is to have too many children that they can not provide for.
A horrible trend is being started.
Jon and Kate plus 8 is a fictional UN-reality show. It doesn't show the truth about a family of 8 close siblings. The two so-called "parents" don't have normal jobs which brings-in an income to support their children. They don't work outside the home the same as a real family in the real world. Obviously, this pathetic family has lots of sympathetic people who are helping to raise their children. The parents are very dependent on the income generated by their TV program which exploits their pathetic brood of children!! It does NOT "Take a Village" to raise children---it takes two intelligent hard-working loving and caring/willing parents.
Viewers can and should (make an attempt to) make a difference. This fraudulent show has already damaged the children (there will be tragedies in their adolescent years) and, as others have indicated, this is not a normal, working family. The matriarch, in particular, is and has been described by her family as being "pathologically driven" by a predominating need for money and fame. As viewers who do not write letters to officials and to TLC, we are as culpable in the abuse of the children as are the parents and, putting profit above the children's well-being, TLC. As a mental health professional involved with damaged children and teens, I cringe over what I hear and read. I shake my head once again over what this culture (and we) teach our own children via this most powerful medium. No amount of explaining can get beyond the images to clarify right and wrong. This show, TLC, the State of Pennsylvania, and Kate Gosselin will leave destruction in their wake for many years to come. Shame on us. Pretend they are your children. What would you do if you knew, unequivocally, that they are traumatized, sleepless, regressed and terrified? ACT NOW.
