ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) -- Kate Gosselin says in divorce papers that she and her husband Jon have been living "separate and apart" for at least two years.

Now I understand when they moved in the new house, they told their kids that they were not allowed in their bedroom. Who knows what they could see.

its shows a correction here that it was not living apart two years.
Technically "apart and separate" in PA can MEAN separate bedrooms. Which is VERY possible. Many are hypothesizing that Alexis' bed in the basement was JON's.
Beejcctx, that makes a lot of sense. I couldn't imagine Alexis being in that basement alone.
