Gosselin Divorce Papers Filed

After months of speculation, the 10-year marriage of Jon & Kate Plus Eight's stars Kate and Jon Gosselin appears to be coming to an end, a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE.
Documents to initiate a legal split were filed at the Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown, Penn., Monday afternoon.
Fans who have watched the couple's popular TLC show – or read the voluminous coverage of the Gosselin marriage in the press – will hardly be surprised: The duo had long maintained a tense relationship, with Jon recently telling PEOPLE he wanted a less high-profile life, while Kate appeared to remain committed to their TV career.
In February, photos surfaced of Jon in the company of young women during a solo visit to see his mother, who was recuperating from surgery, in Huntingdon, Pa. The couple quickly attempted to quash rumors of problems. But in May, the scandal erupted again when 23-year-old Deanna Hummel was photographed driving Jon's car home from a bar late at night.
When the fifth season of the Gosselins' show premiered May 25, the couple admitted to having problems and not knowing where their relationship was headed. "Parents of multiples have triple the divorce rate," Kate said through tears. "I was thinking we were going to beat that. I don't know if I can say that anymore."
TLC promotions of the show are promising a major announcement about the family in Monday night's episode of Jon & Kate Plus Eight.

Oh right it's all our fault...it had nothing to do with that ungrateful, bitch Kate Gosselin!

Really? Even though it ruined a marriage and a family, I guess we all knew what really matters to Kate. Sad, isn't it?

I like the way Kate pretty much blamed the split on having multiples, have you ever noticed how it's always someone else's fault? What a wench.

But, correct me if i am wrong, at the end of last season Jon said he dind't want to do another season and Kate said she did.

Katie Irene mad her bed and now she has to lie in it. She lies very well so it shouldn't be a problem.
I always had the impression that Kate was mean towards John but after seeing Monday’s show I realize that is not all Kate’s fault...Somebody needed to take charge of the house, the kids ...and I don’t think John was capable to take the responsibilities of a marriage, house, kids...so that left Kate to take charge of their lives...
John seemed so lost on Monday’s episode...he doesn’t know what to do with his life?? It seems to me that all he wants to do is run and forget about his past life, including his kids. John needs to grow up!
kate, got an idea for a new book deal, "surviving divorce with multiples". you are doing what you have to do. seems like you have moved forward and jon has moved backward....to high school! build a guest house on the property so you have a place to stay while mr. worthless is "babysitting" his own kids!
