Hundreds of employees have been laid off from Lane but they decide to donate thousands and thousands of dollars worth of furniture to America's most UN-DESERVING couple. What are they thinking? Lane Furniture couldn't find more deserving families?
The Gosselin family moves into a 1.3 million dollar house without the luxury of using the equity of their old house and have traveled more in one year than more families travel in 10 years. They have had 5 star vacations to Maui, North Carolina, Utah, San Diego, DisneyWorld and many local parks and attractions. What makes this family so special and so deserving?
What is the difference between Kate Gosselin exploitation and Nadya Suleman holding out for the highest bidder. Why is Kate Gosselin glorified for doing exactly the same thing that Nadya Suleman.
Critics have commented on whether or not Suleman has had cosmetic surgery, why not criticize Kate Gosselin for her plastic surgery? Kate Gosselin has had a tummy tuck and lipo-suction on television pro-bono in exchange for advertisement for the surgeon. Kate Gosselin has obviously recently undergone botox injections and either utilizes a tanning booth or a spray tan. Again, what is the difference?
Jon hasn't been left out of the freebies for self improvement. He has undergone a hair transplant on television while leaving his 8 children home sick with his in-laws. He has also had lasix surgery and teeth whitening.
So, the next time the media criticizes Nadya Suleman, they should take a long hard look at Kate and Jon Gosselin who appear to be the role models for this new mother of 16.

I think to some extent what you say is very true, and Nadya Suleman may have been taking notes and thinks she will go the same route. I hope that is not the case, but I do hope that people won't take her bad behivior out on the kids. They deserve to be well cared for. It is like hating the war but supporting the troops...you hate what she has done in selfishness, but you can't fault the innocent babies.
I'm not a big fan of Jon and Kate, but they didn't intend to become an industry...they just lucked up, and that is the American way! Sometimes an opportunity presents itself and you take advantage of it and then it takes on a life of it's own. I doubt many of us would do otherwise had we been in their shoes. They love their kids and they are being provided for and they seem to have a loving and caring relationship with each one...so good for them! We are mostly jealous that it didn't happen to us ; )

I appreciate you not starting out your comment with "you are jealous". I wish people would stop using that excuse.
There is no way I would subject my family to the scrutiny that these children are under. Do you realize there are hate groups on Facebook for Mady Gosselin? Sure there are fan sites but the mere fact that there are groups at all is creepy. Kate and Jon need to take their money and run and try and heal the damage they have done.
As Paul Peterson has said,
"Parenting is not a spectator sport".
There is an article out now that says Jon Gosselin was not fired as they state in their church speeches for insurance purposes but for doing a side job on company time. He also was on the internet and phone seeking freebies on company times, he had the gosselinsix website before the tups were born, seeking free items on their "prayer list". He stated he would never have to work again!
The Gosselins use their children and religion to manipulate innocent people for money.
Once Kate seemed to become like her idol, Beth, and the book was written...Beth seemed tossed to the side. Jon and Kate are users, they only give when it is for damage control like when they shrilled for K-Mart and then got free? presents for the cancer patients.
