We have all heard about the wonderful Monkey Munch that Kate makes for the kids. And remember when Kate said something about people who use recipes aren't real cooks? Well, I'm not saying anything about Kate who actually used a recipe for her Monkey Munch, oops! Now finally, Kate is giving out some of her delicious recipes. If anyone tries this one, please let us know how it turns out, just make sure you follow the recipe closely, it's a toughie.
PB & APPLE
2 slices whole-wheat white bread or oatmeal bread
Peanut butter 1/2 apple, thinly sliced and drizzled with a tiny amount of lemon juice
Spread each slice of bread with peanut butter. Place thin apple slices on one slice. Close sandwich and cut into triangles.
Yum, yum!!!!!!!!!
I just found this on a Michigan news page. So I guess Kate is getting even bigger in the food world. Yes, this page allows comments.
Kate Gosselin's Brown Bag Tips

Variety is the slice of life. We all may love tuna on white bread, but why not spice up your lunch-life and try a new variety of bread? Perhaps peanut butter on toasted cinnamon raison bread or turkey and cheese on 7-grain bread? Try a new type of bread every day of the week!
Toast it! Nothing is better than a toasted sandwich ? the crunch, the melted cheese. Delicious! Just because you are packing your lunch doesn't mean you need to miss out on life's little pleasures. For those working moms and dads, most office kitchens or lunch rooms have a toaster oven ? put it to good use and make your very own homemade panini. Everyone will have lunch envy, we promise!
Made with Love. Packing a healthy delicious lunch for your kids is another way to show you love them. Not only do you care about what they are eating ? this is a perfect opportunity to show you're thinking of them, even when you can't be with them. Include a note in the lunch bag or scribble words of inspiration on a napkin. And if you want to get really creative, use cookie cutters to transform your child's sandwich into a work of art ? or even into their initials. These little surprises are sure to bring a smile to their face.
BYOS ? Bring your own sandwich and SHARE! This is part potluck, part tea party. Gather your buddies at work and one day a week everyone brings in their favorite sandwich. The catch (and the fun) is ? everyone will cut their sandwiches into tiny squares, the modern day cucumber sandwich, and share! Even better the second time. There's no better way to save on time and money than with leftovers. When cleaning up after dinner, instead of putting the leftovers into storage containers or even the trash (gasp!), take out the bread and sandwich bags and get to work. That leftover chicken and veggies will make a delish wrap.
Tick Tack Dough. Mix up the bread in their sandwiches, using 1 slice whole wheat and 1 slice enriched white and then after cutting the sandwiches into quarters, flip two of the quarters over to make a checkerboard. It is a great way to start introducing kids to whole grain bread. Kids love fun-looking food, even if it's good for them!
It's ok to judge a BAG by its cover. Most women love to show off a new handbag ? why should your lunch bag be any different? There are a host of insulated, environmentally friendly options in fashion-friendly colors and designs. Sticking to the traditional brown bag? Have the kids add ribbons, name tags or their own drawings and packing a healthy, tasty and creative lunch will become a family tradition.
