HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NEW PICTURES ARE IN THE PHOTO SECTION UNDER 1ST BIRTHDAY CATEGORY.

My father passed away on January 13, 2005 at 7:41pm. We love him very much and we pray that Jesus will take care of him. Kate and I pray for a strong marriage that through all this stress our relationship stays intact. We pray that others may see how difficult our lives are right now and that we are trully thankful for everything our church has done for us. We pray that Mady and Cara continue to be strong and loving through this time of need and stress. We ask the Lord that we have faith in him and we rely on him to provide for us spiritually and financially.
We ask others to please pray for us as we go through terrible financial and family hardships. It is hard to let people into our personal lives but we are praying that people could walk in our shoes for one day and understand that God has given us these children and we are responsible to raise them the best we can. Please pray that Kate and I can do this with help of all our awesome volunteers that God has provided us. Amen.

WE FINALLY GOT A VAN!!!
CHECK OUT ALL THE NEW PICTURES IN THE PHOTO SECTION

A quick update on our family: The twins are doing great. They will start Pre-K in a few weeks. As for the babies they are all walking except for Alexis who seems to be a bit complacent. They are all eating very well and holding their own bottles. We finally purchased a van ourselves. It is a 2004 Dodge Sprinter Passenger Wagon. It is perfect for our family exactly 10 seats for all of us. There are some pictures of it under the heading "OUR VAN!!!" We are so excited we can actually travel together with all our kids and all their stuff (2 triplet strollers). We recently visited our local Sam's Club. And we are attending church on a regular basis. Thank the Lord our God for all his wonderful blessings! Stay tuned for more detailed updates. Again a huge Thank You to everyone who has been by our side helping with all our beautiful children.

Update

Just the ten of us... and wow is life busy, wild and crazy! I continue to try to keep life organized while thinking for ten! Jon struggles to keep his eyes open after his LONG days at work! Cara and Madelyn, our big 5 year old helpers are winning the hearts of all of their "kids" as the call them. They are my right and left arms during the day! And, yes, the babies... who are now "little people" more than babies! They, of course, are running, climbing, breaking things and doing everything imaginable. They are starting to show concern and care for each other which is so neat to watch! They say several words and of course the girls talk alot more than the boys - - even some two word phrases! the favorite is "NONONONONO" when a brother or sister has gotten out of line!
And as for our little house... I feel sorry for it! It has every nook and cranny crammed with something or someone! Needless to say, we're literally bursting at the seems! Our biggest prayer request at this time, is a house that we fit into and can afford... it's going to literally take a miracle...and for now, we'll keep praying!
Other than that, we're all well! Your continued prayers are much appreciated as we need patience with each other and the strength to get through each and every day! Thanks to all who continue to remember us!
Please have a love-filled Holiday as I know we will!

Thumbtacks In Their Heads

Several people that have looked at Jon and Kate's new website had been bothered by the Kid's Corner, which showed pictures of each of their children, the pictures had thumbtacks, several were stuck in the child's head or hair. Of course Kate's favorite kids didn't have thumbtacks stuck in their heads, they were located beside the child's head.

So Jon and Kate proclaim that they don't care about what people say and they don't read anything negative, well I am guessing that they do read it, or at least someone affiliated with them read what is being wrote. I checked out their new website today to see if anything had been updated and sure enough, the thumbtacks are gone.

Hurrah for Jon and Kate finally giving a crap!!!!!! I applaud them. I have seen several other things on their site that bother me, but I have decided not to post them, I really want to see if these things change if nobody mentions them. We will see just how much they really do care about how they come off, or if they only make corrections when people that are not exactly fans take offense to certain things.

Is the show getting to Kate?

Kate's breakdown at the end of tonight's episode while on the couch is a strong indication that the show is getting to her.  How could anyone endure so much negativity without breaking down?  The usual stoic Kate, along with her out of control hair tonight finally broke down.  She broke down after explaining how different their life is now compared to when they stayed at the condo post tups. Kate, we know what your were trying to tell us. Your life was much easier pre-exploitation.
You should have thought about that Kate before you signed your family's privacy away for your own greed.  Are the spa days worth it?  Is it worth it not to have your family and friends in your life? Kate, maybe your parents would have toured the NICU with you since they were so involved with the twins at the time. Or, Kevin and Jodi would have come with you.  Are you enjoying your vacations? Are you looking forward to your new 8000 square foot custom home to film more of your families private moments?  You sold your family for the almighty dollar Kate and now it's finally coming back to bite you.
You know Kate, if you had just shown a little appreciation.  If you weren't such a bitch.  If you stopped putting down your husband.  If you learned to listen and stop talking through your a** all the time, you wouldn't have so many people wanting to bring you down.   You see Kate, women love to help other women.  Women stick together, always have.  Since the beginning of time, women stayed together and gathered while the men went out and hunted (or got a job).  They gathered, chatted and helped raise each others young.  Women want to help.  But, you push everyone away.  Whether it be your own relatives or friends, you push them away.  You've pushed strangers away that came to your rescue when you needed it most.  Women that wanted to help you feed your babies, fold your laundry, cook your meals, babysit your kids, do your shopping and anything else you requested of them.  And now, you push us viewers away.  Yes, Kate it is you.  Not Jon, not the kids, it's you!
We tuned in and you captured our hearts.  The way you clipped your coupons and hugged your babies.  But once we were drawn in, you began to push us away.  Whether it be your sense of entitlement, your incessant need to berate your husband in front of us women, the way you treat your kids or Kate just your general bitchiness.
The last straw Kate for me?  When you told poor Joel that you better not even hear him breathe.  Images of Joel with tubes up his nose struggling for each breath came to mind.  Did you think about that when you were spreading your germs at the NICU tonight?  Didn't think so.

Oh did that feel good.  No way in the world is Kate ever going to read this, but boy it felt good to vent!

Jon and Kate Gosselin Give Back

Well blow me away, in tonights episode, we actually witness Jon and Kate Gosselin giving back. Yes indeed, they were able to catch on film Kate giving the The Ronald McDonald House they stayed at after the tups were born a check. Of course we have no clue how much the check was for, but Kate did make reference to the McD House adding on. So did they give them enough to build a new wing? Well I doubt that, but I would imagine they could afford to do so, if they wanted to.

Do we see the real Jon and Kate?

I have been to forums where many people claim that we do not see the "real" Jon and Kate Gosselin and we are only seeing a few minutes of their lives. While it is true that none of us may really know them, what we see is supposed to be reality and what they do and say on the show is what they are really doing and saying. So I think for the most part, we do see the "real" Jon and Kate. I even think that Kate would tell you the same thing, in fact, she has, this is what Kate wrote on her very own website...

However, that is why our show is a reality show…you get the good, the bad and the ugly and we are determined to be the exact same people that we are when the cameras aren’t there.

The Twins Relive a Nightmare

Whoever thought up the great idea to take the family to the hospital to relive Kate's pregnancy and labor is thinking out of their asses.  Don't try and tell me that the tups asked to go there, please TLC give us a little credit!
Honestly, do they ever think?  Do they really think that Cara and Mady want to relive their mother's hospitalization?  How fun for them to be reminded how serious their mother's condition was.  We must remind ourselves she was pregnant with 6 babies when the human body was designed to carry only one.  She put her life at risk as well as the babies.  In addition, she placed stress on her family especially the twins.
Can you imagine being 4 years old and your mother is in the hospital but you don't really understand why?  What are they thinking when they visit their mother?  Why all the tubes, mommy?  Why can't you come out of the hospital?  Why can't you stand up and hug us?  Do they realize how scary it was for them?  Of course not, because their first priority has never been about the kids, even when it was only Cara and Mady.
Once the babies were born, their health was precarious.  How scary for the twins to be introduced to 1 -2lb babies with tubes and machines coming and going out of each of their siblings.  Not knowing when the sextuplets were going to come home or even come out of the hospital at all.  Don't think they were too young to understand, they could sense how dire the situation was.
Add to this all the financial stress at home due to Jon not working,  don't doubt for a second that stress was not felt by the twins.
Don't forget the twins were displaced while their mother was hospitalized.  I don't care what people think of hospitals, this is no place for the children to go on an outing. People die in hospitals each day. How many people are walking out the front doors that just lost a loved one or just left a loved one that is unrecognizable because they were in a horrific accident?  A hospital is not a playground or a theme park not to mention the germs the children unknowingly expose to the patients.  It is a hospital and it should be a private place where people can visit their love ones and for patients to receive the treatment they need in private without cameras following money grubbing parents like Jon and Kate around.  Another brilliant idea!
How about an episode where the family engages children in crafts or other activities at a low income day care.

Question for the viewers

As we have all seen, Jon and Kate Gosselin are now on a vacation frenzy, well at least an outing frenzy. Each week we see them haul all 8 kids to somewhere new and we get to watch as Kate has her meltdowns and as they hustle their poor children from one ride to another. We see the special privileges they get, such as going behind the scenes to meet characters or having an entire skating rink to themselves. TLC of course is paying for all these wonderful trips, but for good reason, this is a REALITY show and we all want to know how the other half lives, you know the half, the half that doesn't have to work or pay for anything.

On their new and improved (cough) website, a viewer asked...

What is your favorite family trip so far and do you have a “dream” trip that you would like to take someday?

Kate's response to where they would like to travel was...

And there is a place that we would love to go someday as a family to “retrace” Jon’s steps when he was 19. But I will keep that as a mystery for future shows…it may happen and it may not but we can always dream, can’t we?

Oh boy, another hint by Kate that they want more.

So my question to viewers is this, where would you like to see the Gosselins go for another vacation?
